Steve Young begas his professional career with the Los Angeles Express of the USFL. After the league ceased operations, he went on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Steve Young was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in 1987. He led the 49ers to a victory in Super Bowl XXIX and was named Super Bowl MVP. Steve Young was named to 7 Pro Bowls and was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. His rookie cards are found in the 1984 Topps USFL set and 1986 Topps.
